Moto Harley Rental Terms

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of bikes, e-bikes, scooters, ATVs, cars and equipment provided by Moto Harley. By renting a vehicle or equipment from Moto Harley, the renter acknowledges and agrees to comply with the following terms.

1. Eligibility & Driver Requirements

  • The renter must present a valid driving license before renting a vehicle as per Greek law.
  • The rented vehicle may only be operated by the person listed as the driver in the rental agreement.
  • Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement subject to an additional driver fee.
  • Moto Harley reserves the right to refuse rental if the renter or driver appears unable to safely operate the rented vehicle.

2. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the time the vehicle or bicycle is delivered to the renter and ends on the agreed return date and time.

Vehicles and bicycles must be returned on the afternoon of the final rental day and no later than 19:30, unless otherwise agreed with Moto Harley.

The time of 19:30 is considered the official return deadline.

If the renter wishes to return the vehicle the following morning, this may be arranged as an overnight return, subject to an additional rental charge.

Failure to return the vehicle or bicycle by the agreed return time may result in additional rental charges. Delays exceeding one hour may be charged as an additional rental day.

3. Vehicle Use & Restrictions

The renter agrees to use the rented vehicle or bicycle responsibly and in accordance with traffic laws.

The renter is responsible for the proper use and safekeeping of the rented vehicle during the entire rental period.

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • allowing unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
  • participation in races or competitions
  • illegal activities
  • driving on sandy roads, beaches or off-road terrain (except mountain bikes)

Any damage resulting from prohibited use will be fully charged to the renter.

4. Renter Responsibilities

  • The renter is responsible for the rented vehicle or equipment during the entire rental period.
  • All vehicles and equipment must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, excluding normal wear and tear.
  • The renter is responsible for any damage caused during the rental period.
  • Any accident, damage or mechanical issue must be reported immediately to Moto Harley.
  • Failure to return the vehicle or equipment at the agreed time may result in additional rental charges.

6. Insurance Coverage

All motor vehicles are insured with Third Party Liability Insurance, covering damages caused to third parties.

The renter is responsible for damages to the rented vehicle up to the applicable insurance excess (own risk) amount depending on the vehicle category.

9. Fuel Policy

The renter is responsible for the fuel consumed during the rental period.

Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when they were delivered.

The renter must immediately inform Moto Harley if the vehicle becomes inoperable during the rental period.

Roadside assistance may be provided depending on the location and availability of the service.

If the breakdown is caused by normal mechanical failure, Moto Harley will repair or replace the vehicle without additional cost to the renter, where feasible.
